" We feed the soil instead of poisoning it, along with our water and air. We respond to crisis with good wholesome food that plants want like compost, organic fertilizers and other products. We have alternatives to toxic genetic chemicals and by using this approach we can cure and heal ourselves and our planet of this health crisis we are experiencing right now. Let's be understanding with the horticulture in our landscapes and the food we eat and choose healthy, nutritious, organic responses and help all life." It is a proven fact that most of the commonly used chemicals applied to your lawn are known carcinogens and mutagens. The chemical industry has been aware for decades that these products are suspected of causing serious health problems to you and your pets. When you and your pets walk on your lawn, toxic chemicals stick to your shoes and are tracked into your house and deposited onto you carpet. They get on exposed skin, children's toys and everything that comes in contact with your carpet. We all know the comforting feeling of walking barefooted across our lawn. The harsh reality is such that when chemicals are present, these toxins get absorbed by the skin between the toes.
On the contrary, the organic approach to lawn and gardening is totally safe! Compost, seaweed, garlic, corn gluten, even vinegar for weeds, amongst many all natural products are used as safe alternatives to feed the soil and manage your grounds without risk. Many of which might already be a part of your own diet. If you choose to aim towards the use of organics, you are making the wisest decision that is safe for all children of all species!

Q:DO CHEMICALLY TREATED LAWNS AND GARDENS REQUIRE MORE ATTENTION?
A:Yes they do. The chemicals contained in non-organic fertilizers deplete the soil of its nutrients causing your lawn to be dependent on treatment after treatment to survive. While organic materials feed the earth with nutrient rich minerals leaving the soil with more self-sustainability.
Q:DO CHEMICALLY TREATED LAWNS AND GARDENS REQUIRE MORE WATER?
A:Yes they do. These chemicals stunt healthy root growth therefor requiring more moisture more frequently. The toxins in the chemicals are mostly antibiotic or anti-life,thus causing compaction and acidification of the soil. Roots cannot push themselves efficiently through compacted, lifeless soil which inhibits their development and ability to retain water. This results in shallow root systems that are very suseptable to drought. Since the roots are the vital organs of any plant, once they dry out the plant dies.
When organic materials are applied to your lawn and garden, many wonderfully beneficial processes will take place. First there will be an inoculation of micro-organisms back into the soil. Then the increase of organic content in the soil will feed these micro-organisms allowing them to breathe and proliferate deeper and deeper into the soil. This will then increase aeration making it very favorable for healthy root development. Roots will then grow freely and effortlessly with sufficient airflow and moisture. These root systems are very strong and deep and will have the ability to survive drought all on their own. Already you can begin to understand the benefits organics have on your plants beginning from the biological make-up of your soil.

The use of organics is obviously the healthier choice for the earth and all of its inhabitants. But in the current economic climate cost is an even more significant concern to most. When the majority of people think of organics whether it be food or landscape products, they instantly think "expensive". The truth of the matter is that the use of organics will save you hundreds of dollars in the first season of use. And in a short time, thousands, and this is how:
To put simply, chemical fertilizers may be cheaper initially, but that is where your savings end. For attached with chemical fertilizers comes many problems and hidden costs. These fertilizers stress the plants and lawn out in a way that makes them very vulnerable to insects, fungus, disease, and even death. Then comes the weeds to take their place. The maintenance crew or "lawn doctor" then has to come in with his plethora of toxic chemistry and procedures to treat the problems. Including thatching, aeration, reseeding, sprays, time, and manpower. All of which only address the effects and not the cause. Therefor this cheaper fertilizer turns into high costs for the home owner.
On the other hand, the "what seemed to be more expensive" organic fertilizer and compost goes to work right away on the causes, which in 96% 0f the time is soil malnutrition. Your lawn stays healthy and vibrant in color. You plants, trees and gardens function efficiently and have strong root structures. There are little to no signs of weeds, insect, or disease. And even water usage is significantly reduced. Best of all, less product will be required to keep soil at a level of heightened efficiency after initial applications.
